I joined the Club 6 years ago with no background of organised group riding. I received lots of encouragement and was happy to experience the pleasure of social riding.
The Club paid for me to train as a British Cycling qualified Ride leader.
I coordinate the Clubs' programme of Welcome rides and often lead the steadiest of the Clubs' graded Sunday rides. No rider is left behind on these rides (I'm usually the slowest rider anyway!)
I enjoy welcoming new members to the Club and I hope to meet you on 2 wheels soon.
