Course V714, B1230 Gilberdyke to Howden & back.

Barnsley Road Club`s only rider was seeded number 10 in a field of 77 entries was Phill Tyas no less.

With a 9-04am start to the event, Phill got the coolest conditions going at 9-10am. That didn`t get to Phill as he recorded a rapid time of 22mins 55secs, (26.2 mph average speed) for 14th position.

Winner was Jack Levick (Rose Race Team) in an excellent time of 19m 50s, (30.3 mph ave)

A slight southerly wind and what was to be the warmest day this year, so an half decent day for the event.
