A 1st & a 3rd for B.R.C.

Where to start, well ladies first, so here goes.

Saturday 4th September, 12-01pm, Course V235 (Boroughbridge -Walshford on the A168).

The prestigious Yorkshire Road Club `Victory` 25 miles time trial.

Winner, Joe Wilson, Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling, 51min 22secs, (29.2 mph).

Starting number 32, Josie Smith stormed to 10th place in 1hr 00min 16secs, (24.9 mph),

Josie was the fastest lady by over 4 minutes in a NEW COURSE RECORD, (old record 1-00-30) claiming the `Pennine` trophy for 1 year.

That is some achievement, well done Josie, I`m very proud of you and your ride

Saturday afternoon 2-01pm, Course O10/1 (Hatfield Woodhouse - Blaxton A614).

Common Lane Occasionals 10 mile time trial.

The winner of this event, Nick Cousins, Ilkestone C.C., 20min 47secs, (28.9 mph).

Jumping up from a 5th & 12th place on this course to 3rd place, (Whoooopeeeee!),

Phill Tyas, with a time exactly the same as a recent outing on the O10/1, 22min 04secs, (27.2 mph). Chapeau fella, nearly there.

I believe Phill`s P.B. for this course is a 21-44, suggesting conditions were not all that good today, possibly an easterly wind on the exposed course.
