A very big well done to Phill Tyas.
Why?
He`s only gone and chopped 1min 25secs of his previous personal best 25 mile time trial.
Riding the Sherwood C.C. `25` on the A46, starting & finishing near Newark-on-Trent, Phill clocked 53mins 35secs (28.0mph) for 16th place. Chapeau fella.
Also riding the same event was `evergreen` Paul Ruta, the 70 odd year old recorded an excellent 1hr 02m 12s (24.1mph). I think he`s brilliant !
Winner of the event was Richard Oaks of Team OHTEN Aveas (don`t ask) with a 47m 52s (31.3 mph).
