22nd May 2021. City Road Club (Hull) 25 mile time trial. course V734, start time 5pm.

Saturday evening, an odd time for a time trial. Until you understand the whereabouts of the course

Starting at Gilberdyke (East Yorks), proceed westwards to Howden roundabout, turn right onto the coast road through Holme-on-Spalding-Moor to Market Weighton roundabout, turn, and retrace. During the day time, especially in the spring/summer months the coast road is very busy, but not on a Saturday evening. So that`s the reason !

Phil Tyas produced a another very good ride, 57mins 58 secs, he got 13th place with this 25.9mph ride. Good stuff fella, keep it up.

Overall winner was Chapeau ! Vive le Velo`s Adam Duggleby in 49mins 00secs, (30.6mph).

Adam dished out a bit of a surprise beating to Connor Swift (Arkea - Samsic) 49mins 13secs. (30.4mph) who was second.
