Fish & chips + a paddle.

Updated: Aug 25, 2019

This is what Phil Tyas will be doing after racing the Scarbro Paragon CC 10 miles Yorkshire Sproco event on Saturday 24th August.

In a field of 40 riders Phil starts number 34 at 2-34pm. 6 minutes after Phil, Team Katusha Alpecin rider Harry Tanfield rides in one of a few time trials that he rides in this country and he`s in fine form.

The Wolds triangular course roughly takes in Grindale/Hunmanby/Burton Fleming and is a bit lumpy. Stay safe Phil.

Result.

Don`t know if Phil got a paddle or fish & chips but the course didn`t really suit him. In Phil`s own words `he bottled it on the 40mph descents on the tri-bars`. (know what you mean Phil).

Phil`s time, 25m 52s. Not bad for a `bottled` ride. :-)
