Saturday 30th July 2022. Pendle Forest CC 10 mile time trial.
Course, L1015 Levens to Lindale and back, using the A590 in Cumbria. Conditions were damp but warm.
Phil Tyas rode to his fastest time this year over 10 miles and only 6 seconds off his PB (20m 50s) set last year.
Time, 20min 56secs (28.7 ave mph) for 27th place. A very good ride considering Phil had just returned from holiday with his family. Well done Phil.
Winner was young Harris Hall (Velo Culture) with an excellent 19m 15s, ave speed 31.2mph.
Incidentally, Harris`s father was pushed down to 3rd place with another 19 minute ride. Genes ?
