Start time 8am, Course T252/3, on the A19 from Craythorpe to Knayton (near Thirsk, North Yorks.) and back to Craythorpe.
It was a cool for early starters with damp roads but they soon dried out as it warmed up.
Phil Tyas, the only `Road Club rider, recorded his best time ever, according to my notes, clocking 54 mins 21 secs. Beating his previous P.B. of 54m 50s from last season by 29 secs to take yet another 6th place. A very well done Phil.
