Tony makes an appearance.

Updated: Oct 23, 2019

Tony Johnson comes out of hiding after 2 years of not racing `open` events to ride the Chesterfield Coureurs hill climb on Sunday 20th Oct.

This is a 2.31 miles challenge on the Beeley climb (OHC8) & Tony is the 3rd rider to start. The race kicks off at 11-20am on closed roads.

Tony usually prepares well for everything he does so he should make a decent showing, don`t let me down fella ! No pressure.

B.R.C. wishes you a good, safe ride.

Tony`s time for the `Beeley` climb, considering he hasn`t ridden on the road all year, just doing the occasional `Zwift` ride on an evening after little `un has gone to bed, 13m 45.9s for 97th place out of 119 starters. Well done Tony.

The winner was Leon Wright in 8m 31.0s. Is this the lad who is going to win the `National Hill Climb` this coming weekend ?
