Sunday 5th June, Drighlington B.C. 10 miles time trial. Course V210.
A rather windy morning with a head wind to the turn twice, the event was on the A168 from Dishforth to Thirsk. It also meant that there was a strong back wind from the turn back to Dishforth ... twice.
Phil`s time of 21min 47secs although not his fastest was quick enough to take 5th place overall.
Very well done Phil, keep it up, looks like a case of `when the going gets tough, the tough get going`.
Winner, George Peden of the Team PB Performance wasn`t held back very much by the wind
because he recorded 18m 49s with an average speed of 31.9 mph. Wow !
